PARTNERS

We achieve our impressive results with the support and dedication of our partners across the Middle East and in the UK.

Further Education Programme

The Foundation has joint scholarship schemes with sixteen UK universities. Some of the Foundation's university partners share the full cost of scholarships, others offer discounted tuition fees. In return, the Foundation actively encourages – in its publicity and on this website – scholarship applicants to apply to its partner universities .

Due to the increasing cost of tuition fees for overseas students the Foundation has decided that, from 2007/08, scholarship applicants must apply to one of its partner universities if their proposed course is offered. We are, therefore, seeking to expand our list of partner universities. This will give our applicants more choice and enable us to offer more scholarships.

If your university would like to examine the possibility of collaboration with the Foundation please contact the Foundation's Further Education Programme Officer. (email)

Child Development Programme

The Foundation implements this programme in partnership with a range of organisations including:

  • non-governmental organisations (including universities, unions or training centres) in Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan and Iraq;
  • British (or, exceptionally, other international) development organisations implementing projects in these countries or channelling support to local organisations.

The Foundation is particularly keen to support organisations that share their work with or train others.  For additional information on the funding application process and qualifications required for these organisations refer to the criteria information in the Child Development section.

Arab Culture Programme

The Foundation implements this programme in partnership with a range of British cultural organisations implementing projects in the UK.

The Foundation is particularly keen to support organisations that share their work with others.  For additional information on the funding application process and qualifications required for these organisations refer to the criteria information in the Arab Culture section.
