Education For Employment Foundation

The Education For Employment (EFE) Foundation creates job opportunities for young people through training programmes that are linked to job placements and meet employer needs.

In Jordan, the KRSF is supporting, through EFE, twenty young people for training in teamwork, leadership and professional ethics and ten young people on teacher training programmes.

In Gaza, the Foundation is supporting ten unemployed graduates on mini-MBAs and, in the West Bank, is funding four unemployed engineering graduates for construction management programmes.

Syria Disability

The Foundation is providing four scholarships for Master's Degrees in Speech Language Pathology through AAMAL (the Syrian Organisation for the Disabled). Whilst professors from the University of Jordan teach the course it is accredited by Damascus University. The course began in the summer of 2007 and lasts three years. The scholarships awarded cover tuition fees and a small allowance for the four students for two years of academic study and a one-year clinical attachment.

Annual Gathering 2008

The KRSF will be holding its annual student gathering from 11-13 April 2008. The event, for all current KRSF scholars, will take place at Denham Grove in Uxbridge. The KRSF annual dinner and prize giving ceremony will take place at the Institute of Directors on Saturday 12 April 2007.
